Vijay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Forestry from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Prior to his current role at CIFOR-ICRAF, Vijay served as an Assistant Professor cum Head of the Department at the Department of Forestry, Mewar University, Rajasthan. With over eight years of dedicated experience in teaching and research, Vijay possesses expertise in various domains of Forestry, including Agro-Forestry, Silviculture, Tree Improvement, Plant Protection, Wildlife Management, Livestock Management, Forest Utilization, and Remote Sensing & GIS applications. He has published 14 research and review articles in reputed national and international journals.
