Raju Sood

Raju Sood is a forestry professional with a post-graduate degree in Forestry, specializing in Silviculture and Agroforestry. With over three decades of diverse experience, he has worked across Research Institutions, Corporates, and Non-Profit Organizations. In January 2023, Raju joined CIFOR-ICRAF as the State Coordinator for Uttar Pradesh in the TOFI Program. Recognizing his exceptional contributions, he was promoted to the role of Associate Chief of Party in September 2023. Currently, he oversees TOFI program’s activities in multiple states, including Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. Raju brings a wealth of expertise in the technical aspects of forestry, research and development, and project management to his role.
