Manoj Dabas

Manoj Dabas is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Forest Management (1988-90), Bhopal, India, after he earned his BA (Hons.) degree in Economics, from the University of Delhi. Manoj has performed well in research and management roles in reputed institutions in the field of natural resource management, forestry and forest-based industry. He has been the recipient of several fellowships including the British Council (Colombo Plan) Fellowship and US State Department IVP Fellowship. In 2008, Manoj ventured into entrepreneurship to set up and run the Aravali Foundation for Education, and Creative Edge Media and Services Pvt. Ltd., which are recognised names in India.

Manoj joined CIFOR-ICRAF in October 2022 as Deputy Chief of Party of the USAID-funded Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI) project. He was elevated to the position of Chief of Party-TOFI in June 2023.  He has been instrumental in the successful implementation of the TOFI project.
