Ludy holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Seed Science and Technology from Moi University and a Master’s of Science degree in Soil Science from University of Eldoret. She has experience in seed quality management techniques and soil fertility management.

Before joining ICRAF, she worked with CIAT and University of Eldoret as a Research Assistant where she was involved in designing and management of experiments, data collection, data analysis and report writing. As a laboratory technician, she is involved in the activities that ensure the conservation and distribution of high quality germplasm in the genebank. Her areas of specialization are in seed science and technology, research in agricultural science and working with local farmers to improve their livelihoods.
