Djalal Arinloye has over 15 years’ experience in the areas of marketing, value chains, technologies up and out scaling, and public-private partnerships development in West African countries and institutions. He holds a PhD in Management Studies and Business Administration from Wageningen University, the Netherlands. His current research interests include community enterprises and value chains development, gender mainstreaming, forest management, soil fertility mapping, land restoration, climate change adaptation and mitigation. 

Djalal serves as Coordinator for the following projects: Agroforestry Technologies Scaling-up, Regreening Africa Sahel, Climate Smart Agriculture Agroforestry and Fodder Crops Promotion, Benin Ecosystem-Based Adaptation and Forest Management, West Africa Regional Soil Fertility Mapping, Spatial Assessments of Changes in Soil Health Indicators in Benin. He is very passionate about transformative change among communities in Africa.
