Soozin Ryang

Soozin Ryang is the Program Officer for Education and Training wih the AFoCO Regional Education and Training Center (RETC). As Acting Head of RETC, she is working on a capacity building network with Member States and various partners. Starting as a Project Manager in 2014, she also worked on the management and monitoring of various projects in Member States. She studied horticulture and urban forestry at University of Seoul, the Republic of Korea, for her Master of Science, researching street trees and their resistance mechanisms against elevated ground-level ozone. She then obtained a Master of Philosophy from the Development Planning Unit of University College London, United Kingdom, researching how urban agriculture relates to human well-being and de-alienation.
