Rinaldi Imanuddin

Rinaldi Imanuddin is an accomplished forestry expert and senior researcher at Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). With over two decades of experience, he specializes in forest carbon, GIS/RS, and sustainable forest management. He holds a PhD in Bioresource and Environmental Engineering from Hokkaido University (ongoing), an MSc in IT for Natural Resources Management, and a Bachelor’s in Forestry from IPB University. Rinaldi has contributed to key national policies, international projects like INCAS and SilvaCarbon, and global climate initiatives, including UNFCCC COP events. His work has earned multiple awards, including recognition for carbon research and innovative forest biomass estimation methods.
