Meenakshi Poti

Meenakshi Poti an Indian PhD researcher from Universite Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB), Belgium. She studies responses to environmental change in small tropical islands in the Indian Ocean (Western Indian Ocean islands and on-site work in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India). Her research interests include ocean and coastal governance, mangrove and island social-ecological systems, adaptation to environmental change and participatory research methods. Meenakshi uses watercolour art and creative writing to communicate science and policy to a wider audience.
