Joko Prihatno

Joko Prihatno is an accomplished expert in climate policy and sustainable development. He holds a Ph.D. in Ecotourism Marketing from Universiti Putra Malaysia (2003) and has extensive experience in forest management and agribusiness. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Analyst for Climate Change at Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Prihatno has played pivotal roles in national GHG inventory, MRV systems, and carbon pricing regulations. His contributions include serving as Indonesia’s Lead Negotiator for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement (2019–present) and Director of Greenhouse Gas Inventory (2017–2019).
