CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Success Stories of 15 years of research on coffee and cocoa conducted by the Agroforesta platform in Central America: sharing of experiences, tools and results, and testimonies from stakeholders (dP Agroforesta)

Agroforesta scientific platform on agroforestry in Latin America has been working for 15 years on the development of sustainable and efficient coffee and cocoa-based agroforestry systems. The platform’s members (Cirad, Catie, Promecafé, Bioversity International and ICRAF) are working with production and research and development actors to improve the performance of agroforestry systems in terms of productivity and profitability, as well as their contribution to the well-being of rural populations and the preservation of the environment and natural resources.
