SESSION

Business for Land Forum

As the world grapples with the urgent challenges of land degradation, desertification, and drought, the private sector’s role in driving sustainable solutions has never been more critical. The Business 4 Land Forum, held during the pivotal COP16, convenes top-level decision-makers from business, government, and civil society to discuss concrete actions for restoring land, preserving ecosystems, and improving resilience to drought and environmental stresses.

In a global landscape where more than 2 billion people are affected by land degradation, the imperative is clear: businesses must engage not only through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies but also by mobilizing financial resources and advocating for policies that support sustainable land and water management.

The Business 4 Land Forum is a high-level gathering designed to spotlight the intersection of businessfinance, and policy in addressing one of the most pressing global challenges of our time: restoring and protecting the world’s soils and water resources.
