Based on a desk review of 14 NBSAPs (July), researchers found that while several emphasized the importance of improving public awareness, only a handful included well-defined plans to actually include and improve education and involve youth and other key target groups through meaningful participation.

In this session we will highlight “good examples” (from the "best of"); examine the role of CSOs, youth groups, and institutions; and provide several key recommendations for how parties can build "the people" back into their action plans and ensure a “whole of society” approach.
