Description

The project intends to support the on-going efforts of reducing dependence on coal for fuel y providing alternative renewable sources of energy. Specifically, the project conducts a 5 day field visit in Bonn and nearby regions, with representatives of the private and public sector active in the energy sector in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia. The visit aims to to identify locally adapted and sustainable solutions for the expansion of renewable energies and the re-cultivation of lignite mines and – where appropriate and possible – cooperation in these fields between the City of Bonn and its surrounding area.
