CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

This is the 2022 contribution from the Government of France of core / flexible funding for the Agroecology TPP (https://glfx.globallandscapesforum.org/topics/21467/page/TPP-home.)
" The Transformative Partnership Platform (TPP): Agroecological approaches to building resilience of livelihoods and landscape project, was launched by France and CGIAR with an aim of building resilience of livelihoods and landscapes.
The platform is coordinated by CIRAD and ICRAF (as part of the CGIAR FTA (Forests, Trees, and Agroforestry) programme). It intends to boost the amount of evidence available on the performance of agroecological systems in a wide range of different contexts. Through this Transformative Partnership Platform, institutions seek to accelerate and coordinate their work on agroecology across international, national, and local scales, with the aim of fostering transitions to more sustainable agricultural and food systems. The project will involve working in new ways, bringing together: research and development; science and social movements, and local and scientific knowledge through transdisciplinary science and the co-creation of knowledge."
