CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

The XV World Forestry Congress (WFC) is hosted by the Government of the Republic of Korea from 2 - 6 May 2022 in Seoul under the theme "Building a Green, Healthy and Resilient Future with Forest". The congress is a valuable forum for strengthening the role of forests in general as well as in the context of critical environmental, economic and social issues and taking into account the developments in the global sustainable development agenda.

Supported by FAO, the Global Landscape Forum (GLF) develops and conducts a media seminar for journalists and communication experts to enable informed and fact-based media outreach delivering the messages of WFC, held in the margins of the XV World Forestry Congress.
The media seminar will be for approximately 50 journalists.
