Descriptions

The project focuses on the following priorities: i) further strengthen the already started MRV capacity of front-line government experts and community members; ii) initiate safeguard and compliance related actions in our quest for future results-based payment engagement with Norway; iii) address the gaps and challenges identified and proposed actions in the RIP Midterm review; iv) strengthen coordination and administration arrangements drawing lessons that will ensure the smooth delivery of RIP-II; v) further strengthen the institutional and human capacitates of Ethiopian Forest Development as well as the relevant regional bureaus in the South West Ethiopia Regional State among others, among others.
