CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Descriptions

CIFOR forms the secretariat the FACT Dialogue program. As part of this an in-person retreat is organized for all countries participating in FACT. This in-person retreat takes place in the UK in March 2023 and aims to:
1. make progress on complex technical detail on the FACT roadmap actions.
2. work with countries to develop a funding strategy for FACT Roadmap implementation, and to agree a more defined shared end vision and objectives that help structure our work going forward.
3. build relationships to strengthen ongoing dialogue and rapport between governments, and in the longer term to start to encourage other countries to take on a leadership role, reducing the resources required from the UK Government.
