Descriptions

Artlink connects culture, art, and people – in Switzerland and across continents. It promotes artists from Africa, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, and Eastern Europe in Switzerland. On behalf of the Swiss Development Agency, artlink manages the South Cultural Fonds, a grant programme that includes the Incubator Grant. Arts professionals across disciplines from above-mentioned regions, are invited to submit their workshop proposals in six themed categories. Each category is hosted by a grant partner who is experienced with the theme and regional context. Grantees will receive a production budget and a mentorship provided by the grant partners. Mentorships include the design, coordination, facilitation, and communication of a virtual workshop.


Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) as the contracting organization, leading the Global Landscapes Forum, is responsible in organizing and/or contributing to the program as agreed by both parties, among others: as primary point of contact throughout the mentorship and workshop production, organize and execute of the mentorship, technical support in the workshop production ensuring successful project completion.
