CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

CIFOR takes the leadership in research design, data collection and dissemination of findings. CIFOR, NLTDU and VNFU collaborate to collect data in the field. MARD, CTNP and SLFPDF are political partners in the project. Since this project is built on previous work that analysed PFES impact in Cat Tien National Park and Son La province, these partners collaborate with and support the research team to carry out research in the same sites so we can obtain both pre and post- COVID information.
They advise the research team on the expected scope and policy priorities that they expect to fit their policy planning. They also targeted beneficiaries of this project due to their potential role in up taking research findings and scaling out relevant strategies in their daily PFES management activities and development of future PFES policies.
