CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

In this project ICRAF provides technical backstopping to a local Forland team to build shared indicators and dashboards to support the Madre de Dios brand (as a territorial process) implementing the approach they developed in other engagement landscapes such as San Martin, identify sources of data and data processing to obtain the indicators.
ICRAF works in close collaboration with TerrAmaz site coordinator and with the team in charge of developing the Forland platform, who are establishing linkages with the Marca Madre de Dios committee, a Public-Private-Civil platform that is in charge of the MDD brand, and with a place branding consulting firm in charge of developing its co-branding strategy.
