CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

OCP Ethiopia Fertilizers Manufacturing PLC(OCPEFM) intends to leverage its existing soil analysis data by developing a novel soil prediction algorithm. The endeavor mirrors successful collaborations with organizations like Agrocares and CropNutrition labs, with room for further improvement. Diverse databases including satellite data and wet chemistry analyses are part of OCP Ethiopia Fertilizers Manufacturing PLC's data landscape. The goal is to seamlessly integrate these datasets with new spectral data for comprehensive and accurate soil analysis outcomes.

OCP Ethiopia Fertilizers Manufacturing PLC(OCPEFM) actively seeks collaboration with ICRAF to develop their own calibration based on their own legacy and new datasets, refining soil analysis precision. The comprehensive integration ensures optimized results and signify a dedicated effort to enhance accuracy. This collaboration reinforces OCP Ethiopia Fertilizers Manufacturing PLC's commitment to advance agricultural practices by setting new standards in soil analysis precision.
