CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Description

ICAR and ICRAF share a vision to harness the potential of agroforestry research to strengthen livelihoods, reduce poverty, and improve and nutrition security. Through cooperation and partnership, the two parties seek to increase the impact of agroforestry research in India and to contribute together to accomplish global Sustainable Development Goals. The technical cooperation between the two parties will be implemented in the areas agreed upon annually. As per the MoA, ICAR supports the attendance of Indian scientists at ICRAF sponsored activities such as training, workshops, conferences, meetings and monitoring/study tours as required subject to administrative approval of a competent authority.
