CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

Descriptions

The Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP)and Rythu Sadhikara Samstha (RySS / Corporation for Farmers Empowerment) have entered into an agreement with German Cooperation for the implementation of Indo-German Global Academy for Agroecology Research and Learning (IGGARL) project at Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh. RySS has engaged AHT GROUP GmbH as Implementation Support Consultant (ISC).

The IGGAARL is building up its research capacity, including establishing a laboratory that can analyse soil and plant samples according to international standards. The APCNF (Andhra Pradesh Community Management Natural Farming Project), implemented by RySS (the Project Executive Agency - PEA for the IGGAARL) has been cooperating with ICRAF on the Land Degradation Surveillance Framework from 2020 to 2022. For this study the soil samples were analysed in ICRAF's world-class soil Spectroscopy Laboratory in Nairobi. ICRAF now supports RySS/IGGAARL with establishing its new Spectroscopy Laboratory to ensure that it will operate according to international standards.
