Descriptions

To provide scientific contributions to IUFRO’s Science-Policy Programme under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator. More specifically, the Key Personnel will perform the following tasks according to the annexed Terms of Reference of the Global Forest Expert Panel on Forests for Social and Economic Resilience (see Appendix 1), herein after referred to as “Study”, as agreed in the first meeting of the Expert Panel:
1.1 Attend the meetings of the Expert Panel and contribute to the development of the annotated outline of the assst, herein after referred to as “Report”;
1.2 Develop assigned chapter(s) of the Report and ensure that it is / they are completed in a scientifically sound and timely manner, and is/are consistent in terms of content with other chapters of the Report. The Contractor also needs to follow the overall editorial guidelines and agreed methodological principles of the Report;
1.3 Coordinate and communicate with the other Coordinating Lead Authors and with the Lead Authors of the Report to ensure consistency and completion;
1.4 Coordinate the revision of designated chapter(s) of the Report, according to peer and expert review comments, and in collaboration with IUFRO’s Science Policy Programme;
