ICMS 2024 was a pivotal event focusing on the essential role of mangroves in attaining sustainable development goals. R. Singh, Thirumurugan V, Shamna K T, N. Prabaharan, and R. K Bhomia (This abstract was presented by Dr. Utchimahali M).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This conference provided us with an opportunity to meet and interact with other researchers working to understand and conserve mangroves. We spoke about the Mangrove Monitoring in India Program with the participants. People working across the mangrove world found our work interesting and complimented us for collecting regular on-ground data. We all shared our learnings and exciting memories from our respective field works with each other. We also met renowned scientists, community workers and consultants engaged in mangrove conservation. Attendees, especially those working in India and Sri Lanka, expressed their intention to collaborate with CIFOR-ICRAF in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\"
