Governance of blue carbon ecosystems

Alue Dohong, Vice Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, and Laksmi Dhewanthi, Director General of Climate Change of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia shared their perspective on the potential of blue carbon ecosystems especially mangroves, the role of multi-stakeholders, blue carbon-related policies, and the integration of blue carbon into Indonesia's emission reduction strategy, including the transition towards achieving net zero emissions by 2060 or earlier.
