A chat with Prof. Xu Jianchu on land restoration in China

Xu Jianchu is Regional Coordinator of the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) East and Central Asia programme. He is a Professor at the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, which operates a joint research centre with ICRAF. Professor Xu"s work is currently focused on bringing together scientific research and traditional knowledge to generate solutions for vulnerable areas such as mountain landscapes and degraded lands.
