Field work procedures

This involves getting the samples from the field for laboratory analysis. The fields sites are selected at random across the region or area of planned activities with special request. • Measure a distance of 12.2m from the Centre to locate the next subplot • Using a soil auger extract soil sample at a required depth of 20cm for the top soil and 50cm for sub soil • Place the samples in the sampling buckets and mix them • The transfer them into plastic bags which are well labeled
