Sustainable and hygienic honey harvesting in upstream Konaweha, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

Uluiwoi and Ueesi are two sub-districts of East Kolaka district, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. The two regions, upstream on the Konaweha River, produce forest honey. Since 2013, the Agroforestry and Forestry in Sulawesi (AgFor) project has collaborated with partner organizations and the local community to support the development of upstream Konaweha River into an area of sustainable forest honey production.
