Enhancing food system resilience | FTA and ECI discussion

Organized by the CGIAR Research Program on Forests, Trees and Agroforestry (FTA) and the Environmental Change Institute – University of Oxford, the discussion “Enhancing food system resilience” took place in Bogor, Indonesia, on Feb. 12, 2019. Comprising a keynote on enhancing food system resilience from John Ingram, presentations on the importance of forests, trees and agroforestry for food security and nutrition through a food systems approach from Terry Sunderland, Stepha McMullin and Amy Ickowitz, moderation by Vincent Gitz and a closing statement from Ramni Jamnadass, the event looked at the roles of forests, trees and agroforestry in food systems, as well as perspectives for research.
