CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

View from Vietnam: Gender equity in PES and REDD+

Researchers from the Global Comparative Study on REDD+ (GCS-REDD+), led by the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), worked with National Television in Vietnam to produce this television segment on gender equity in the country's forestry sector. The resulting segment was broadcast nationally in 2017 on 5, 6 and 9 November and 31 December, and was again broadcast in 2018 on 4 and 11 January. The work was supported by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and the International Forestry Knowledge (KNOWFOR) project under UK aid from the UK Government.
