CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Strengthening National Coalitions for Great Green Wall Action

The EU-funded Knowledge for Great Green Wall Action programme (K4GGWA) implemented by CIFOR-ICRAF and FAO is strengthening national coalitions for Great Green Wall Action across the Sahel and the Horn of Africa. National Coalitions unite all stakeholders to boost resilient landscapes across GGW countries. In Senegal, where a presidential decree was installed to boost the implementation of national coalitions, the CIFOR-ICRAF K4GGWA team led a Pan-African work group attended by the GGW agency representatives of Senegal, Djibouti, Nigeria, Sudan, Chad, Burkina Faso, and Niger to focus on “What role can multi-stakeholder country in strengthening the vision of the Great Green Wall?”
