What is Climate-Smart Agriculture? Background, opportunities and challenges

This presentation by Alexandre Meybeck of the FAO was given at a session titled "Using climate-smart technologies to scale up climate-smart agriculture practices" at the Global Landscapes Forum in Lima, Peru, on December 7, 2014. The panel presentation and discussion focused on how these climate-smart technologies can be scaled-up to benefit smallholder farmers. This was followed by a public debate.
