Development of commercial products based on wetland crops to improve community welfare

Presented by Siti Hamidah, a lecturer at Lambung Mangkurat University, Indonesia. This speaker shared information about the program conducted by Lambung Mangkurat University in developing commercial products by utilizing the native vegetation in the peatland area to improve community livelihoods. During this session speaker also explained how research is important in developing high-value products based on native vegetation. This session also shared success stories by showing products developed and marketed by the local community.
