This document discusses interventions for regreening and agroforestry in East Africa. It notes that countries are at various stages of implementing initiatives like agroforestry, soil conservation, and rangeland management, supported by government, NGOs, and donor funds. There is a lack of trust between governments and civil society that limits collaboration. The group agrees on the need for better cooperation and will facilitate a regional network to map existing work, strengthen collaborations, develop advocacy strategies, and rollout sensitization plans to engage governments.
