AB This report presents results from the testing of the Cristal Forest framework during field visits on the Ugandan side of Mt.Elgon conducted during Jun. 16-22, 2012 to: Kapchorwa District, Kapkwa Village and Bududa District3, Bufuma Village. The results of this analysis were also shared with, and validated by an assembled group of district stakeholders during a workshop held on May 3rd, 2013, in Kitale, Kenya.This document is an output of a CIFOR-led project, entitled: "CRiSTAL-Forests: Development of Community-based Risk Screening Tool - Adaptation and Livelihoods". This project is being implemented in collaboration with Makerere University, and the Kenya Forestry Research Institute (KEFRI). Primary funding for this project was provided through a grant from UNITAR (G.EGP.2011.03).
