How to make money from forest products

Many people in developing countries are dependent on forest resources for subsistence use and as a source of income. As well as timber, people use animals, plants and fungi, known as non-timber forest products (NTFPs). Improved management of NTFPs could help people make more money from these materials, as well as protect forests more effectively.
