Establishment and management of cacao under shade: technical guide for forest extensionist

This guide includes technical information on the establishment and management of agroforestry systems which include cacao in Honduras. It discusses the climate, nurseries, management practices, shade regulation etc. with the main purpose of enabling the extension agent to promote these agroforestry systems in Central America. On the same note this guide could serve as an initial effort for the promotion and improvement of other agroforestry modalities which are practiced locally.
