CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Grevillea robusta: an annotated bibliography

This bibliography is the first achievement of a cooperative research project on Grevillea robusta between ICRAF, CSIRO and ACIAR, supported by a grant from AIDAB (the Australian International Development Assistance Bureau). The bibliography aims to provide a comprehensive summary of published information on G. robusta available in English. The 224 references included were selected from 350 available as containing original material of general interest. French references (of which there are >200 available) were excluded as they are to be included in a publication from CTFT (Centre Technique Forestier Tropical, Nogent-sur-Marne, France). A 10-page introduction to the bibliography summarizes published information and current research on G. robusta (history, taxonomy, ecology, uses, reproduction and propagation, performance as an exotic, growth characteristics and silviculture, pests and diseases) and proposes directions for further research. The references are arranged alphabetically by author, and there is a subject index by ODC number (which also gives the ODC subject of each number).
