Strategy development for trees for nutrition and health: priority areas, opportunities, challenges and entry points for research

As one of the CGIAR centres contributing to CGIAR Research Programme Four: Agriculture for Nutrition and Health (A4NH), the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) has undertaken six regional strategy development workshops to better align our current knowledge of work in this area and to review how food trees (primarily fruits and nuts) can best contribute to improved nutrition and health. The workshops identified priority research areas and appropriate outputs. Regional workshop outcomes will be used to help develop an ICRAF global strategy and framework for future work in this area.
