The year under review was characterized by two main features, viz. i. intensive planning and preparation of ICRAF's new five-year programme of work for 1986 - 1990, based on the recommendations of the External Review Panel; and ii. many of ICRAF's key programmes and projects over the last four years entered their final stages.
