This manual outlines the process necessary for development and implementation of bye laws for Sustainable Land management (SLM). It is based on the experiences in SLM related rules and regulations formulation in different parts of Ethiopia. Lessons and experiences have also been drawn from the process used during formulation of the bye law for Dendi and Were Jarso districts.
