Such activities are called 'cross visits'. In this video, we follow farmers newly involved with the Indonesian Rural Economic Development project in Sumba, Indonesia who traveled from their dry and rocky island home to the larger, neighbouring island of Sulawesi. There, they met other farmers who had been working with the Agroforestry and Forestry in Sulawesi project for nearly five years. The Sumbanese emphasised the importance to them of the knowledge they gained. The Indonesian Rural Economic Development project is a partnership between World Vision, Lutheran World Relief and ICRAF The World Agroforestry Centre. It is supported by Australian Aid. ";
