Briefly describes ICRAF and its core programme in Southeast Asia. The core activities will focus mainly on multipurpose tree improvement and management, component interaction, systems improvement; policy, adoption and impact analysis as well as training and information. Also describes the role of ICRAF's Southeast Asia coordination office, and establishes a priority ecosystem - the humid uplands, in which to implement the core programme.
