Wild orange, Strychnos coccuoides (baker), is one of the most popular indigenious fruit in southern Africa. farmers ranked it as the third priority indegenious fruit tree in the region. However, lack of knowledge on its reproductive biology, propagation, and management has hindered its domestication and use. Several research and development efforts aimed at overcoming these constarints are in progress
