Session Objectives At the end of the session, the participants should be able to: 1. Articulate and explain the role of soil and water in upland agriculture and their effects on the lowlands; 2. Discuss the problem and the factors affecting soil erosion and degradation in the uplands; 3. Discuss the different practices of soil and water conservation, including their advantages and limitations; 4.
