There are few examples of rigorous impact assessment in the conservation, avoided deforestation and payments for environmental services (PES) literature. REDD+ impact assessment could contribute tremendously to our understanding of successful environment and development policy initiatives. We will learn more rapidly and effectively by sharing evaluation designs and findings across REDD+ projects ";
