The International Fund for Agricultural Development is developing a programme that focuses specifically on the upland poor in Asia. The programme aims to benefit indigenous people and other marginalized groups in Asia's upland areas through regenerative agriculture and sustainable natural resource management, provision of microfinance services, local institution-building, local employment creation, and the protection of biodiversity.
