CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

The aim of this call for proposals is to identify projects, which might be eligible for financial support from the RUPES Program. This support would be in the form of a co-financed grant, technical assistance, and/or joint proposal writing for additional funding support from other sources. RUPES is planning to assist somewhere between 5 and 20 projects, allocating a total of $200,000 for the first year overall. Projects that may be eligible will be in line with one or more of the objectives of the RUPES program or help to promote objectives in specific fields of environmental services and reward mechanisms in Asia
