1. Major Breakthroughs with donors at AGM 2006At a time when funding is becoming a major challenge to all international centres, key CGIAR donors recently reinforced their commitment to ICRAF’s R4D agenda with important increases in their core allocations. During the AGM 2006 meetings this past December, Ireland, the Netherlands, and USAID each announced increases in core, while Finland and Sweden reconfirmed longstanding commitments to the Centre’s funding.
